So, this is among the latest Weekly Hat posts ever, but in my slight defence, I got back from holiday last night and have spent most of today (with a few quite lengthy breaks) writing the damn thing. You’ll be happy to hear that I should be available to do this on time for the next few weeks. Score. And I was also glad to see that the automated postings I set up for last week’s Weekly Hat and Behatted comics actually worked.

Guten morgen. A surplus of news in the Weekly Hat this week, including yet more from President Obama, the moon and the Conservatives. (Two of those things are more interesting than the other.) It’s still just about the morning, so it must be about time I published the Weekly Hat for the week. Luckily, since I spend a lot of time on Twitter, it’s been fairly easy to find stories this week, as a frankly alarming proportion of the news seems to be happening… on Twitter. Weird!

Good morning once again.

This is the twenty-fifth Weekly Hat, which is another nice round number. Not that I’m planning anything to mark it. Business as usual, pretty much. Well, there is the triumphant return of the sports section, if you like that sort of thing.

Oh, I should probably mention the recent engagement of long-time friends-of-Behatted Ali (of Aliventures fame) and Paul (not really of much fame, but has a Twitter account). Congratulations, folks. Just so there’s some sense of occasion to my 25th.

Good morning, readers, and happy Sunday morning.

This is the 26th Weekly Hat, and technically I think this makes it our six month anniversary! Happy half-year! Mocking the media and being ill-informed about world affairs since the 6th June!
